I love candles. But right now, all I can think about it is making these luminaries in different sizes and colors, for the dining room and living room.

Statement jewelry will always prompt a big YES on my part. That the stone on this ring has anti-aging properties is just icing on the cake.

This is such a fun way to show photos! But I think it would work just as well to post reminders and such on the kitchen bulletin board.

I don’t know how the weather is where you live, but here in Switzerland it’s starting to get cold. Which is why jeans that are beautifully cut but also lined with a material that traps body heat without adding bulk sound like an especially brilliant idea.

Weddings are so over the top these days. The opposite of “fairy tale wedding” is not “boring and ordinary”. A wedding can be elegant and beautiful, without being pretentious. Like this one.

If you the Queen’s English is music to your ears and if you, like me, ever wish you lived in England… you can inject your home with a touch of British charm with this adorable print, and always feel you are in London with your very own Big Ben.

This simple, summery dessert would be perfect for a relaxed barbecue party.

I really want to get this book; ’cause after 30+ years, let’s face it, the mess isn’t going anywhere. (Unless I move again, in which case it will follow me to my new place, as it tends to do.)

And speaking of messy people – I happen to be a well-organized messy gal (yeah, I’m a weirdo), but if your mess is due to lack of organizing skills, here are a bunch of tips from über-organized bloggers.

I don't know if this looks more gorgeous or more delicious.

I don’t have a lot of parties, because I’m a really neurotic host. But things might change now that I found a magazine dedicated exclusively to parties!

And if I am feeling especially adventurous, I might just make this adorable DIY cake stand.

I am always on the lookout for pretty decor accents. I saw these lovely bowls in the last issue of Rue and now I want one of each. At least.
