Years ago, I found a beautiful burgundy scarf on sale. I bought it without a second thought, and wore it the same day. That’s when I noticed how well that shade went with my chestnut hair, so I experimented with wearing it in my hair.
I have moved a few times since then (including the move to New York and back), and the scarf has been lost in the process – and with it, for some reason, went my headscarf-wearing days. My love of scarves remained, but I haven’t worn a scarf on my head in ages, until I saw this video from The Girls With Glasses, and it inspired me:
So now here I am, thinking I should buy some more square scarves to use for the first two looks, which are perfect for summer! Here are some that I think would look really cute worn like that:
