Stella insists that she can totally have her own fashion blog.
I have pointed out that she can’t spell yet, but she told me that she doesn’t really need to say anything, anyway, because a true fashionista will let her style speak for itself. Alright, let’s humor her:

I’m not a social butterfly, nor a party animal, but I do enjoy meeting new friends, especially other expats in the Zurich area.
Yesterday I went out and I knew I’d have the chance to do just that – by attending, together with my friend Marisa, the first Zurich Glamour Squad Game Night. We met at the Hotel Widder for drinks and a sort of Trivia/Jeopardy game focusing on topics like SATC, Fashion Facts, Gossip, etc. Sounds fun, right? Plus the winners would have the chance to have a free sday of pampering and relaxation at the newly opened spa facilities at the Zurich location of Holmes Place.
What do you wear for a relaxed “girls’ night out”-type event? If you are anything like me, you try to keep it comfortable, but a little fun.
I recently bought two embellished-shoulder tops, and I love wearing them with treggings and skinny pants. The embellished shoulder is like a more feminine take on the military trend, and an embellished top makes accessorizing a no-brainer, since it eliminates the need for statement jewelry.
You can, however, add a pop of color, hence the purple pashmina and the grape Nikki (my prrecioussss
).
The evening was lovely – I had fun, lots of laughs and two delicious cosmos, and I didn’t feel underdressed or overdressed. But even better, I got to meet some really cool people. Check it out, it looks like my life here might actually be taking shape! About time.
