Happy New Year lovelies! How is 2013 treating you so far?
We have been having unseasonably warm weather here and even a couple of sunny days, so despite the fact that the annoying voice of reason is whispering to me that I should’t get used to it, because the cold and snow will be back before I can say “brrr”… I can’t help but think of spring. As much as I love my blacks, and boots, and scarves, right now I am thinking of color, and ballet flats, and of wearing fun accessories and cute nail polish shades and not having to hide them under coats and gloves.
And seeing a new Kate Spade collection… well, that goes right along with the current mood!
Here are a few faves… first of all, the scarves: how cute are these? Bright and lightweight, delicate enough to wear with a lovely dress but fun enough to wear with jeans, as well:

I positively ADORE anything Kate Spade…and I mean anything!!! I saw a really cute GLITTERY Kate Spade ipad cover!!! LOVE!! Those scarves and bags…ADORE!!! Like you, I’m tired of all the grey here…I want to see Palm Trees and beautiful BLUE Water!!! And beaches. Yes. Beaches.

Love the colours, yes it does make me want to banish my winter woolies away , but not yet ,as you say, I think the UK might be in for a rude awakening with bad weather ..

I think color is great for winter… it lifts you up during the grey cold months!
Elisa… you know the craziest thing happened. Before I went home to Switzerland for the holidays, my family informed me that there was a ton of snow. The day I arrived, it all melted and I didn’t get any snow the entire month I was home. The day I leave, it snows all night and they’ve had snow ever since! I’m sorry for being the cause of your weird weather, ha! I wanted the snow.. honest. In other news, these scarves and bright colors really do make me think of spring!
