I have a case of the summer blues.
I woke up this morning to a hail storm and grey skies. Where did summer go? To make matters worse, there will be no trip to Sardinia (not any other coastal region) for me this summer – cue major beach withdrawal. How am I going to spend an entire summer without looking at the sea, I am not sure yet – I’ll probably be dreaming about the blue-green waters of the Mediterranean in no time at all and attempt an escape to some place more fitting to an island girl…
For now, I’ll have to make do with some blue inspiration!
I hope you have better weather where you are… and lovely beaches!

P.S. I am on vacation (yes, really early this year!) and last week and this week it has been so windy we couldn’t get near the beach (Greece) plus this week is THE week of the month ! PMS and all !!! …….
Blue – one of my fav colours. I am never blue when around blue! Not many blue skies around here either. If it is any consolation we have had the 2nd worst June on record – so much rain – and it is about to continue into July. I can think of worse places to have to be, than the land of the Swiss!

I’m sorry your vacation’s been cancelled… there’s nothing to quite describe the feeling when you look at the blue of the Mediterrean Sea in it’s all-encompassing greatness. No other sea’s been able to even compare, in my experience at least.
But I’d love some rain for a change! Here in Dxb, the sun’s shining too bright (45 degrees… * Celsius*) and all the sand from the desert is not helping!

I’ve never been to Sardinia but it’s been on my travel wish list for awhile but I might be going to Corsica in September and I’m super excited!

We are definitely not having better weather! It’s been raining here in the UK non stop for weeks now
We really need the rain here. It’s already been 100 degrees, but a bit of cooler weather is coming at the end of the weekend.
