Krystal is one of those people who has so much energy, joie de vivre and creativity that she just cannot keep it bottled up. It definitely shows through her blog, which is a fabulous hodgepodge of design, fashion, photography and just generally awesome stuff.
And the kicker? When you finally get to meet Krystal, she surely doesn’t disappoint – she is just as lovely, energetic, creative and fun as you’d think. I consider myself lucky to count her as my friend and fellow expat, and I can’t think of anyone more perfect to help me launch this new feature. So here she is.
If you could pick a destination to travel to right now, what would it be and why?
I would go to Split, Croatia. I’ve been there before and it was amazing. I desperately just want to go on a beach beach vacation where I can read books, float in the water then go into town for an amazing meal. In order to be super relaxed I think going somewhere I’ve been before would definitely help because I wouldn’t feel like I need to be constantly going to see things!
What 5 essentials from your wardrobe/home would you bring with you?

Hello – I’m visiting you via Krystal who I discovered when looking for Swiss blogs. I just returned from Switzerland yesterday and was in Zurich last Friday – such a fantastic part of the world. Would it be greedy of me to wish I was back there? Spent most of my time in the mountains and missed the sights of the city – a few hours is never enough!

I’d really love to go back to the beach…but it is a bit tooooo hot there for me right now…so I will have to wait until March! The Lake is fine for now though!!
I’m not much for traveling to far away places…there really is lots and lots to see here in the US! With the gas prices the way they are though….we probably won’t be taking the RV anywhere anytime soon!!
