After the trip to London, the last thing I wanted was something complicated or uncomfortable, so on Monday morning, while getting dressed for the day (bring the girls to school, attend/host Expat Book Swap, errands, then back home to unpack) I found myself reaching into my closet for something soft but not too thick, and out popped my black maxi dress.
The last time I wore it this way, but since the weather has warmed up quite a bit since, this time I simply paired it with my flat gladiators and minimal accessories, and off I went.
It was an incredibly comfortable outfit to be out and about, but I still felt put together; the grape Nikki added a pop of color – not to mention it’s slouchy shape and buttery soft leather really make it the ideal bag to pair with a relaxed outfit!
How are you using your current wardrobe to transition to summer?

I have also been in the UK for a few days and with just a few days away cannot believe quite how much blog reading I have to catch up on! The ever useful black maxi dress, love the belt.

I love the low thick belt on that dress. Weren’t the full sleeves a bit warm?
