I LOVE purple. I don’t wear it often enough for it to be my signature color, but it’s definitely my favorite. I especially love to pair it up with black and metallics, because it really pops.
The arrival of fall has marked a definite shift in weather in Zurich, and with the temperatures dropping, it’s now time to start layering (yay!) So when my new boots finally arrived, I reached for my opaque purple stockings and my fave (read: most comfortable and most versatile) black dress and the rest just kind of came together:

I chose the striped tee to avoid the outfit being too matchy-matchy. I wasn’t sure about the “Coco” jacket being worn with this outfit, but somehow it worked.
I remember reading somewhere that plus-size women shoulnd’t wear bright colors, that we should stick to “muted colors”. Hahahaha! Riiight. I’ll get right on that

Purple is far superior to all other colors. I’m glad we agree on that.
It’s been ever-so-slightly chilly this week (ok, 79, but after 5 solid months of temps in the 90s, that feels cool!), and I’ve broken out my purple Fall clothes!
I’ve seen a lot of purple throughout blogs lately – and red!!! and seriously, this cold weather has go to go….6 more months!

As always, your style is something I <3! Which reminds me, I've been meaning to post about a purple shirt I wanted over the summer and didn't get. Kind of a one that got away! Wishing I were you for that moment and just ordered it! Bah on me!
I'm jealous of the layering weather. We've got loads of rain this week, which is great, but the humidity is a killer. Boo!
One of my very favorite colors!!! I try to wear it discreetly (you know the French and bright colors) but it really helps make brown eyes pop!

Purple + browns + mustard yellow is one of my favourite combinations of clothing colours. I wish we could wear it year-round instead of just in the autumn. (well, i suppose we could wear it year-round, but you might get some odd looks in the spring
)
Those boots are kickin’ too. I love slouch boots, especially those with a heel on them (i mean, for girls obviously haha)
