High Fashion, Low Price: *the* blue Manolos

Remember the blue pumps with the bejeweled applique that Carrie placed in her brand-new, fabulous walk-in closet in the Sex and The City movie? (Do I even need to ask that? If you saw the movie, you probably fell in love with them along with the rest of us.)

Here they are, Something Blue by Manolo Blahnik, still avalable at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus for $945.

Now, if you like this fabulous shoe (and why wouldn’t you?) but are not about to spend that much on it, here’s another possibility:

The Martinex Valero “Zenith” pump is as close at it gets, and for a much lower price. It retails for just under $160 and it’s available at Nordstrom in blue (of course), gold, black or ivory satin (a great wedding shoe!)
