When you are plus-size and passionate about fashion, you can find yourself in an awkward situation: choosing between flattering clothes and fashionable clothes. Sure, You can find cute plus size clothes, but for the most part they are just that: cute. How many times have you come across a plus-size outfit in a store or catalog, and said: “Wow, that’s so fabulous!” Me? Not so often. In fact, no examples at all come to mind right this minute.
Which is why, when I finally found a designer who made flattering and fashionable plus-size clothes, I was super excited. And when that designer offered to sponsor part of my BlogHer wardrobe? Hello, I don’t know which cloud I was on, but I can tell you I could easily predict the weather for the whole continent from up there.
The designer in question is Yuliya Zeltser, the talent behind Igigi. And these are the 4 lovely pieces from the Igigi collection that I’ll be wearing during my time in Chicago:
Top: Noli pants (with Gaelle top), Helena maxi dress
Bottom: Lola and Annette dresses
Mind you, I’m not nearly as hot as these models. Or Sara Ramirez. I’m more like the average plus-size gal. I do have the olive skin and dark hair and eyes, does that count? 
I’m still deciding on the accessories, except for one thing: my L.A.M.B. clutch, which I’ll likely be wearing all 3 evenings (but my plane doesn’t get in until 8.20pm, so I’ll be late to the People’s Party, but I hope I can make it!) – I will have a pretty full suitcase already, without adding too many handbags to it.
No, I have to make it to the People’s Party. Even for an hour. So please cross your fingers that I can get out of the airport, to the hotel (I’m staying here) and checked in etc quickly, so I can change and come meet all you fabulous people! (especially you Jill – get ready, girl)
So if you spot me a gal walking in wearing one of these dresses, or this outfit (haven’t decided which outfit for which party yet), it’s probably me.

really my fear of being ill-accessorized is probably my top reason for not going to blogher. and my stupid clothes. i heart fashion, i pour over my vogue every month when it comes in — but really i fear i may look like a cross between the sears catalog and cold water creek. no i do not shop at sears. yes, i keep shopping at cold water ‘cuz my MIL giveis me gift certificates. why can’t i shut up right now? why? why?
