I remember a scene of Judging Amy I watched several years ago, that keeps coming back to me every now and then. It went like this:
Lauren: Grandma, what is anorexia?
Maxine: A disease women get from reading fashion magazines.

Ok, I will likely be condemned now as non-PC, but that scene was funny and sad at the same time – it rang true, and I still think about it. I loved that scene from Judging Amy. Loved the show in general, but that quote is so right on.

I concur. That video IS crazy. *shaking head*

Okay, I love your blog and I also loved Judging Amy and the chronic sarcasm from Tyne Daly. hehe. =)

Man, I miss Judging Amy. That was such a classic show.

I posted this video a long while ago on my blog, it moved me so much. Raising daughters is so incredibly daunting, isn’t it? I barely survived this growing-up-female thing myself, you know?

I’ve seen this video before. And yeah, it’s shocking and amazing, but mostly it just makes me want my own team of hair and make-up people. lol
